Going plastic-free for 2017: a social marketing experiment

Our colleague at The NSMC - Dr Rowena Merritt - is attempting to go plastic-free for the whole of 2017. Read her first blog on her experience below:

Have you ever thought about how much plastic you throw away each week? Maybe this thought crosses your mind when you look at your overflowing recycling bin, or maybe it is not something you have thought about before.

The NSMC Award for Excellence in Social Marketing 2016

The NSMC’s Award for Excellence in Social Marketing for 2016 was presented by John Bromley the Director of the National Social Marketing Centre, at the 2016 United States Social Marketing Conference in Tampa, Florida this week.

The recipient was Robert John for the Oklahoma Nutrition Information & Education (ONIE) Social Marketing Project funded by the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Education to increase the consumption of 1% low-fat milk in Oklahoma City.

Welcome to our new website!

Although our old website has given good and faithful service over the last few years, we felt that it was time for a refresh. We hope you find our new site easy to navigate and the content useful. 

Refreshing our website is very much work in progress and over the next couple of months we will be transferring more content over from our old site.
