Patrick is a founding Director of The NSMC and leads on the communications, training and capacity building work streams. As a qualified Training Foundation Practitioner he has helped develop over 50 training and capacity building programmes including managing a major capacity building program for NHS Scotland, delivering a training and mentoring programme for the British Virgin Island’s Ministry of Health and designing and implementing a behaviour change capacity building programme in Sierra Leone. Patrick is also an experienced facilitator of Focus Groups.
Other overseas experience includes project managing a major USAID funded project in Jordan and a six months development contract in Vietnam for Voluntary Services Overseas. Patrick has also edited, designed and published over 20 publications for The NSMC, including developing the UK’s first online social marketing planning guide. Partick is also responsible for The NSMC's project quality and financial management reporting processes.
Prior to The NSMC, Patrick worked in the voluntary sector for ten years initially in fundraising with Barnardos and VSO and then at Asthma UK leading their Children and Young People’s programmes.
