In 2007, The NSMC set up the Learning Demonstration Sites scheme with funding from the Department of Health. At that time social marketing was relatively undeveloped in England and the programmes were designed to build knowledge and expertise in the discipline. This report, which is the final one in a series of three, presents the journey of each of the projects, including final outcomes and lessons learned.

Key Conclusion

'Social marketing continues to be a practical and valuable approach to delivering behaviour change. Its focus on empowering individuals....is in line with the Government's people-centric, evidence-based approach to public health.'
