Introduction to Social Marketing training course: Washington D.C. May 10th to 12th, 2017
We are pleased to announce that we will be holding a three-day Introductory course on Social Marketing in Washington D.C. just before the start of the World Social Marketing Conference in May 2017.
The course will take place at Trinity Washington University between Wednesday 10th and Friday 12th May 2017. The University is a 10 minute walk from Brookland - CUA Metro station on the Red Line.
This course is the only social marketing course accredited by the UK's Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) and has been created using The NSMC's extensive experience of delivering social marketing training courses over the last twelve years. At the end of the course, delegates will have the opportunity to sit an assessment to achieve the accredited Social Marketing Diploma Award.
Over the three days, attendees will learn how to plan, develop, implement and evaluate a social marketing programme, covering topics including:
- An introduction to the key concepts of social marketing.
- Conducting meaningful quantitative and qualitative research with your target audience.
- Developing actionable insights from your research that can be used to build behaviour change interventions.
- How to implement and evaluate your programme.

Who should attend?
The course has been designed for those who have a rudimentary knowledge of social marketing but want to know how to commission or develop their own social marketing interventions. It will also provide those who are attending the conference a thorough grounding in social marketing so they are able to participate in the conference sessions more effectively.
