The NSMC is running a one-day training session on value for money in behaviour change on 23 May 2012. Delegates wishing to take advantage of an early bird discount must book before 2 April 2012.

Since no organisation can afford behavioural interventions that are not cost-effective, The NSMC has developed tools for assessing value for money. Developed with the Department of Health, NICE and leading health economists, the downloadable Excel tools can be tailored by local teams to fit their own challenges. The tools are designed to calculate the value for money of smoking, breastfeeding, alcohol, bowel cancer and obesity interventions.
